Hi
This is something that has been in my mind.

I have the feeling UK authorities do not allow UK residents to use non UK registered vehicles in the UK and would impound them unless Registered here and any VAT paid. VAT would be on the value at date of importation, not when new.

But I don't know and would welcome others knowledge.

One variation I also would like advice on is that my Partner is Russian and could register the bilke in her name at her Moscow address. If she/we/I then bring it into the UK for a visit of (say) a few months, would I, as a UK resident, be allowed to ride it in UK?
