Registering a 4x4 in Botswana
 

Hi All,

Any advice or contacts to help register a foreign 4x4 in Botswana would be much appreciated. :-)

My Land Cruiser has been bouncing around Africa and now needs a permanent home. I tried (& failed :-/ ) to register it in South Africa (surprise!).

Now I'm hoping that the Botswana system is more amenable to a foreigner paying them some tax & in return issuing some number plates :innocent:

So before diving into the expecting sea of paperwork, have any of you boldly gone before me and can share some tips?
