Panic on the way to Morocco!!
 

3 of us are travelling thru Spain on the way to Morocco and one of us has left his UK drivers license at home!!!

He has an International Driving Permit but is worried he might need to show his UK license on the way into the country.

Can anybody help - will he be ok without it?? After all, you have to send your UK license off when applying for your IDP.

Urgent advise needed!!

Keep on going. International driver license is fine in Morocco.

650Km to cover through Spain today and there's a 100Km wind blowing!!! Looks like it'll be a tough day.

I was stopped quite a few times while travelling through Morocco and at every stop I was asked for my driving license. The cops are mostly switched on over there regarding EU legislation, although, I had laminated copies of my license which worked ok and never showed my IDP. Not sure how it will work only showing an IDP, might cause you a bit of hassle but it is a legal document so I think you should be ok.
