Pakistan visa via agency from abroad?

Hi all
So far the info we have, is that you must apply for the Pakistan visa in your home country. This can be done by mail but they may call you in for an interview. (We are German and Irish.) A girl mentioned on the Caravanistan website, that she had sent her Belgian passport to an agency and they sorted both LOI and Visa for her and sent it back. This was cheaper than flying back home herself.
Does anyone know this is still possible? Who are the agencies? Or how did everyone solve this problem?
Thanx in advancebier

Or should I be posting this elsewhere?

I did mine via post. I am aussie but was living in london. I was told at the time the uk embassy was being a ball buster with visas particularly for brits. So i posted all docs with passport to australia, had my old man helping me there and they definatley new that i was in london, so wasnt a problem for them. I didnt need a LOI. However i told them i was flying into islamabad and out of lahore. they called my bluff and asked for a flight reservation. as it turned out the airlines would do a flight reservation for me for nothing. Basically it would expire after a couple of days but obviously i needed it only for the embassy in sydney.

Are travcour around. Or are they called something else now. I didnt use them but i know plenty of overlanders did

cheers
