Non european on italian bike insurance?
 

Hi,
Is an italian registered bike covered for insurance throughout europe?

Do i need to get green card insurance as well. I am non european but bike is registered in italy.

On your insurance it says what countries it is valid in.

I think i asked the wrong question, ill try again. Is green card insurance required for a non european to ride an italian registered bike or can i just use basic italian insurance such as Danni autovetture (vehicle protection insurance).
i am trying to avoid paying very expensive green card insurance.
The bike is registered to someone else ( not me) but i have sole use.
