Can someone please clear something up for me.
This new white peice of paper has only been around for six months or so.....TVIP?
I have imported my RTW bike into Thailand overland with a Carnet AND the white piece of paper called a temporary vehicle import permit. But actually getting out of Thailand is taking a while beer

And the white piece of paper is only valid for 30 days.

is my carnet valid in Thailand? superseding the TVIP? they did stamp it into the country but that white peice of paper looks pretty serious with its 1000 Baht fine per day


I guess there is no way around this?
I really dont want to have to ride to Cambodia and back just to import my bike again

Pretty sure they wont recognise your carnet, the Thai system has always been 'unique' I believe.
Plenty of nice countries to choose from for a trip out though if you need to stay longer. Be aware though that they are tightening up on 'visa runs' and there are rumours of if being difficult to get back in (this is generally aimed at people staying here to work illegally though and doing multiple runs rather than genuine tourists).
