Looking for international Travel insurance

Hi my name is Babam and I'm looking for international traveler insurance.

I only know 1 company called world nomads but they are expensive and have horrible reviews on some websites. It basically comes down to if you have anything serious then they will probably not pay out and give you a hard time. I wanna have medical cost covered in case somethings happens, thats sort of the only thing that really worries me, dying because of having no money...

The thing is I'm a earthling and not registered in any country, therefore nomads seems to be the only option but I'm sure there is more out there that might be better, cheaper and allow you to not need be a registered permanent resident of any country. (I still a passport carrier of a European country).

Funny that I stumble upon this website, because for the first time in my life I'm gonna get a motorbike and travel around Canada for 1 year Babam! :scooter:!

Looking for insurance is like trying to find a plane ticket, there are waaaay to many company's to compare and every website is made to be confusing so you just get it over with and buy a ticket.. (because they are basically all advertizing the exact same plane ticket right:confused1:....)

However in my case I'm an 'international' in their eyes anyway and all those company's expect you to be a citizen somewhere and its just to much to work to look into all of them without dying behind my computer (which I'm currently not insured for...)

Is there someone out there with experience that can please help me find a list of company's that insure internationals and maybe have advice on their quality.

Kind regards and thank you very much,
Babam

Hi Babam and welcome,
The best section to look in is trip paperwork, there are a lot of threads there about insurance. I would expect you will need to be a resident of some country or other to get any medical insurance as the companies take into account what treatment you will get from the health service of that country when working out a premium. If your passport is European that is probably as good a place to start as any.

Hi Mark,

Ill try and see if there anything there.

If anyone knows of a good tip of a decent company, please don't be shy :).

And thank you in advance,

Babam
