Leaving a country while vehicle is still there
 

I asked yesterday about long-term health insurance. A basic point I should have raised but didn't, is that according to what I understand, the owner of a vehicle cannot leave a country while the vehicle is still there (stored/parked up for a couple of weeks, for example).


Am I right, that one can't leave?

Like most of these things it varies from country to country, and even then the 'nationality'of the vehicle may also affect it.

Also it may be possible for a certain duration of time in certain countries, in others indefinitely.

You would really need to ask that question for a specific country.
