Italian Licence Insuring UK Vehicle
 
We are UK citizens with Italian residency, but still have a UK address.
Our Sprinter 4x4 is impossible to register in Italy, it's modifications prevent this.
So it needs to remain registered in the UK.
Can anyone recommend an insurance company who will insure under these conditions?
UK address
UK registered vehicle
Italian Licence
UK licence held for 40+yrs but exchanged for an Italian Licence.

Unless I'm missing something it seems impossible to hold the 2 licences at the same time. I have surrender my UK licence to obtain an Italian one????
