Iranian Consulate Munich... anyone been?
 

After waiting for many weeks for my visa authorisation to come through from Tehran, my tourist visa application (German Passport) was finally submitted about two weeks ago to the Iranian Consulate in Munich. I still have not received my visa, and can't imagine what is taking so long; once the authorisation has been given in Tehran, surely all they have to do is print the sticker and out it in.

When my friend who dropped the application off tried to call them, they are rude and unhelpful (not an unusual experience with Iranian consular staff to be honest).

Has anyone else had to wait this long AFTER they have got their authorisation number?
