Iran Visa - Authorisation + Visa = 6 months
 

When starting the Iran Visa application process, am I right in thinking....

A Visa Authorisation Number is valid for 3 months from the date of issue, and then the visa stamp is valid for entry to Iran for 3 months from the date of issue.

Therefore, if we got an Authorisation Number on April 5th, we would have until July 5th to apply for the Visa at the embassy in London, and then we would have until Oct 5th to arrive in Iran?

We're in the process of doing the Iran visa at the moment and are reasonably satisfied that this is the case.
