Insurance on the road.
 

Hey gang,

I'm currently trying to wrap my head around what I will need insurance wise while on the road. I'm hitting the road in the spring for a RTW trek and am on a tight budget. So here are some of my questions for those of you with experience in this field;

Do I need my own med insurance independent of travelers insurance?

What insurance providers do you recommend for traveling via motorcycle?

This part of the trip planning is about baffling to me and the associated costs can make me sad. Haha. Any advice or feedback is most appreciated!
