insurance (again)
 

I have looked but cant find what we need. We are planning to ride to Turkey. Time off booked, route planning under way. Himself has just tried his insurance company who say Serbia, Bulgeria and Turkey are out of the question. I would guess mine will say the same too... soooo, can some kind person please tell us who would offer this cover (TPFT I guess) for a month. Or any advice about buying it at the border. ie does it take ages to sort.

To possibly add to this one bike is 23 and the other is 27 years old and yes we quite pissibly need a head check for wanting to do this

Try another insurance company.
I'm an EU citizen (italian) and the green card of my motorbike insurance covered Serbia, Bulgaria and Turkey, where I travelled easily.
It should be the same in UK, as the green card is an european institution.

That is the theory & it worked for you BUT thus far we are drawing a blank with UK insurance providers, which is why I thought I would try asking here...
