Importing a bike into the UK from Canada?
 

I'm planning a trip from Alaska to Argentina and the shipping costs from and to the UK is high.

The alternative is to buy a bike in Canada and import it to the UK from Argentina at the end of the trip.

Does anyone know what paper work and cost are involved or who to call in the UK to find out?

I have found out some information on the DVLA web site (below), but am not clear of any TAX that is payable on the value of the bike
