Idp 1949/1926
 

Has anyone ever been asked to show their IDP travelling through Africa? As Nigeria is on our route it seems we need both the 1949 and the 1926 types. Or do we just take the 1949 one? I know in the U.K. they are around £6 each. In Spain where we live they only seem to know about the 1949 type. Paperwork over here is a nightmare at times.
They cost around €10 each so thats €40 plus a day spent in the local Traffico Oficina (Jefatura Provincial de Trafico).
Any advice would be welcomed.
