French Customs - Shipping Bike FROM Paris HELP
 

I am shipping my bike from Paris to Canada. My freight company told me TODAY that I need a french customs stamp on my airway bill before I drop it off. The bike will be delivered by me with german export plates.

Can anyone help me with information on where the customs office is at the Paris airport for cargo? A phone number and if they are open on weekends? I need to get the stamp on April 16th, or do I need to get to Paris before the 14th to have it stamped?

Slight update. The shipper now said:

"You might not need a stamp. Usually our customers ship their bikes over to Europe, get a stamp at customs to show its entered the country and then when they fly back home a stamp showing its leaving the country. Since your buying it in Europe and flying it home we dont know what is needed"

Great. Now I dont know if I do or dont need one, and the french customs assistance line has not been supportive. No answer (even within business hours). The one time I did get through I selected english, but got a french speaker and they hung up on me. doh
