Exiting Argentina without my motorycle
 

I am from the United States, travelling by motorcycle. I am in Argentina and am having serious engine issues with my DR650. It is an old bike and I don't have a problem leaving it behind if I can't fix it. Would I have issues with my TIP since I wouldn't be exiting the country with my bike? From what I have read, I should be able to leave the country without issue, but I am afraid that if I would enter Argentina later, maybe a few years from now, I could have issues and maybe a big fine. I know that I can't legally sell the bike in Argentina since it is from the US, but I just want to get rid of it without it causing problems in the future.
