Ethiopia Insurance
 

Hi anybody help, heard a rumour............. Do I need Ethiopian insurance before I arrive at the border or can I buy at the border. if I need how have other people handled this problem. Thanks for help

We entered without insurance. No-one asked for it and I didn't ask either. We did however by 3rd party insurance at a later stage in Ethiopia, but this was because we also bought comesa(yellow card) insurance there for other countries we were going to visit later on. one of the requirements to by comesa in Ethiopia was to have current 3rd party insurance for the country.
