Driving from India to Pakistan with a moped (under 50cc)
 

Hi everyone,
I'm a Swiss passport holder planning a motorcycle trip from India back to Switzerland. I'm currently exploring cheaper alternatives to shipping my own bike from Switzerland to India and riding it home using a Carnet de Passage.
I'm aware that Indian-registered motorcycles are generally not allowed to cross into Pakistan. However, I came across a forum post from 2010 stating that vehicles under 50cc might not require registration in India.
Does this mean it could be possible to buy a small moped in India (under 50cc) and ride it through Pakistan without facing registration issues? Has anyone had experience with this or knows more about the current regulations? Any advice on where to verify this information officially would also be very helpful.
