Does CAA issue Carnet for Africa?
 
Does anyone know if the CAA issue a carnet covering Africa, I' am a U.S citizen and I'm plnning a m.c trip form Ireland to Cape Town S.A - it seems that getting a carnet in Europe is complex? Thanks.

Yes, the CAA will cover you with a carnet for travel to the Republic of South Africa. I am a US citizen with a US registered motorcycle and had no problems. You have other options as well- with the SAA. H

SAA= the automoblile assoc. in South Africa.
