Comprehensive insurance
 

I know this topic has been discussed at length; however there might be some Aussie travelers that might be able to help.
I'm insured with Shannons and they will not carry my comprehensive policy overseas. They tell me that there are no Australian insurance companies that will cover the GS when I take it to Europe next year.
What have other Australian travelers done?
I'll be arranging Green Card before I go, but what about theft insurance etc?

you could try getting insurance from a UK broker - they will be able to provide European cover but not sure what thjey do about overseas registered bikes. Try Bennetts....

When we did the trip from Oz to Uk in 2004 i found a UK company that would insure us for the whole trip which would have included Europe. I found them on this site but can't remember which company it was. What I do remember is that the insurance was not much less than the value of the bike. (F650GS dakar)
