China Visa at Ankara/Istanbul
 

Hi,

I was wondering whether anyone here could have the information I am after.

Basically, I need to get a visa for China to cross in mid-September.
I am departing on my trip next month (May), so this means I will not able to get the visa in my home country, since May is too early to get the visa (max. 3 months validity).

So I wonder whether anyone can share their experience on getting the China visa on Turkey.

Looking at the website, it seems like it is possible:

"(3) Proof of legal stay or residence status(applicable to those not applying for the visa in their country of citizenship)
If you are not applying for the visa in the country of your citizenship, you must provide the original and photocopy of your valid certificates or visa of stay, residence, employment or student status, or other valid certificates of legal staying provided by the relevant authorities of the country where you are currently staying."
