Certificat-air in France
 

It seems that the French have created a certificate that you need for about 20% of the country. It is called certificate-air.


Here is the problem: It can not be issued for a vehicle registered outside of the EU.


I tried and received a very disturbing email that literally stated "We invite you to avoid the concerned places"

It seems to me this is in direct violation of the Geneva convention on road traffic, which France signed, but when I pointed that out they did not reply.
