Carnets UK OK!
 

Hi,
Just a quick note to say the 'Carnet issuing crisis' in the UK seems to be under control! Just got mine from Paul at the RAC. From sending off my application to getting the Carnet took about a month, what it says on the website. I'd still apply in plenty of time just in case though!

I am trying to reach him since a week. No reply to my e-mails and voice messages. I have 2 months to move. Just incase, I wanna apply earlier. Hope, we'll send me the forms soon..

Hi Ozhanu,
Yep, it seems almost the hardest bit is getting the application form! Emails do seem to take a week or so to answer in my experience.
You should be OK with a couple of months though!

Just adding my two pence worth. Spoke to Paul during the week. He told me to apply for my carnet for a June depature in April. He also said he gettng 20 to 30 calls per day so can imagine he very busy.
