Carnet renewal
 

Dear all,
Rac seem to be going through one of their snowed under stages, as no response to queries ( don't get me wrong I think PG does a great job with his resources ).

Can someone tell me the procedure to renew my carnet. Do I simply DHL the old one and get them to send out a new one?

In particular, I have a bank guarantee rather than insurance/deposit, and cannt remember the exact arrangement. Will this simply roll over for another year?

Usually you apply for a new carnet as a replacement for the old.
With the new AND old carnet you go to customs tho have it transfered.
Only then you send back the old carnet.
The deposit simply remains there.
