Carnet Petition in the UK against the RAC
 

I can't find if this is posted anywhere on here...Sorry if it is.

This may help us all with regard to the future...why not sign it and give the RAC a clear message..

Like many stupid programs, the URL you have given me routes me through to a French website because I am connected to a French server. Why the hell don't server programs look at the language setting of the receiving computer and then select a URL in the language/reginal variant in which the computer is being operated?

I've signed - for all the good it will do with just over 100 people on the petition atm. If you know the difference between carnet and calais your support would be helpful.

I've had two carnets from them over the years and both times the process was so ... well lets say "bureaucratic" that I've since taken my car breakdown cover elsewhere. A simplification of the process would be welcomed. Actually, even someone at the RAC knowing what a carnet is would be an advance.
