Carnet for Oz bike In Turkey and Europe
 

Hi guys

Hoping you can help....Does and Australian registered bike, piloted by a Uk citizen need a carnet for Turkey and or Europe???

No carnet needed......I was there last year.

No Carnet - but get Green Card
 

I've been in Turkey twice on my Australian registered bike - most recently this year. No carnet required anywhere around there. Best to organise your Green Card insurance in UK - you can buy it at the border but it's a hassle. Quite a few UK insurers issue it free if you have a UK policy. Just check that it includes Turkey.
