Carnet for Syria
 

Hie everyone!
Is it possible to enter at syria with out
carnet?

I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination, But I rx a fax from the A.A(UK)international services Dept on the 30/08/01 which states that a 'carnet' is reqd for Syria. Hope this helps.

yes, its no problem .
I was in syria at september and I have a carnet but a clerk on the border don't ask me about this and I pay all costs.

It was 75$. /motorcycle/
50 for a carnet /because i don't show it!/ and 25$ for the insurance -valid for 1 month.

if you go only to syria,/turkey/ its cheaper to go without carnet because carnet cost /in poland/ 100$.
