Buying bike in UK heading for Cape Town then returning to Australia
 

Hi all,
Im currently in the formulative stages of my trip preparation. Sadly I havent been able to get enough time off uni to then continue up through the Americas from south to north, but that may just have to wait for another time.
I currently live in Australia, though I'm British and the Uk to Cape Town route intrigues me more than the reverse. In the event Im returning to Australia with the bike, is it possible to Personal Import whatever Ive UK bike Ive ridden down? Or would returning it to the UK be my only option? Alternatively, if Ive shipped a bike from Australia and gone north can I keep it in the UK?
