Bike insurance in India
 

Can anybody recommend a company where we can insure UK registered bikes for India. 3rd party or comprehensive welcome.

We are currently in Delhi, thought we were successful until an hour ago (had the inspection, paid the money, went to pick up the papers and were told "computer says no"). The issue is that our bikes are not registered with the Regional Transport in India.

Really dont mind whether we find a UK, India or other company. We hope to be in India 2-3 months so just want at least the minimum 3rd party insurance.

Please, any ideas welcome.

if so who did you use? We are currently in India and also having similar issues.

I used the National Insurance Company, Johdpor branch, last year. They wanted 700 rs for 1 year cover. I think it is a very smart move to have this paper, could keep you out of jail.
