Bike hire excess insurance cover
 

Hello everyone

New to this site today. Should have found it ages ago. We are planning a trip touring Namibia and hiring bikes in Capetown. Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a policy that covers you for the excess on our bike hire. I can find companies that do it for your UK personal bike / car insurance but not for a hired bike. As the excess is a lot of money, would be nice if we could insure against having to pay it out if needs be.
