Yes I am still interested at least over the mountains to Alberta as I will be attending college in the fall, on the governments dime as partial payback for 27 yrs military service.

Sorry bout that cow. Sure tasted good though! ;)

I hope I can meet up with some of you for a bit of the Trans Canada.

I'm still in Brasil heading south on the Atlantic coast then up Chile through Patagonia. Most of this trip is over with only around 28,000 km to my home in California over the next 3 months. Plan to ride up to Deadhorse around July so gotta do more Canada.
:funmeteryes:
Not sure why some say east to west or west to east. :confused1: Don't most need to return home somehow? For the return do folks ride onto ViaRail RoRo style? doh

Glad to hear that you are still interested. It makes sense why you are called PPCLI and they can never repay for the years that we give them in the military. Do not know about you but I had a bloody good time though.

Having spoken to some west coasters they think that the Rockies in June might be a bit cold so now thinking East to West. What are your thoughts? I am very keen to do this trip and if you are likewise as keen then perhaps we should look at meeting each other. I could do with a trip out west.

I apologise if I appear overly keen but the older one gets the more you realise there is no time to pussy foot around. OK I am a bit :offtopic: now. Time to finish 'War and Peace'

OK you have got me feeling a tad envious and I really need to get back on the road. I found South America stunning and one day I must get back there.
