Western US to Argentina everything in between

I am riding a large motorbike to Panama ( actually from there to Argentina) staring July 7. I have noone to come with me till Panama. Anyone feels like it ? Well zoom down to Mexico along the west coast, few stops in Mexico, then hang out a little while in Antigua, Guatemala, then speed down Nicaragua, also hang out a few days. Also in Costa Rica, then I am getting on o boat to Colombia from Panama. Then all the way to Argentina, but I have friends joining in Colombia and Bolivia and those contries are safer than central america and Mexico, so will be making more frequent and long stops there. Mostly staying at hostels, camping out and maybe couchsurf. Let me know if you know anyone who want to come. I have a BMW 1200 GS we can pack lots of gear (relatively).

Boulder, Colorado to Buenos Aires...possibly! Mid May start

Hi,

I am doing a similar trip but will be ahead of you as i plan on leaving in first or second week of May from Boulder.

Still, i am a newbie and slow rider and will be stopping to take plenty pics so you may catch or pass me!

I'll be riding a 2009 KLR 650.

If anyone else is on that route at the same time and might like to catch up or ride part way together then feel free to contact me.

Cheers

Sounds good. I'll keep in touch and let you know exactly when I set off from Colorado - should be mid May with perhaps with a stop on the way to Mexico near Flagstaff, Arizona for the Overland Expo there (dates: 16-18 May; details: Overland Expo - Details).

Cheers

Hey there guys, I am starting my trip from way north on 16th June, heading up the dalton first, then down through Canada into US and beyond. Not sure exactly how long this will take me to get somewhere close to Caliornia/Mexico, but if i'm around and on the heels of you guys, then let's meet up for sure.

I'm not a brand newbie, but not an expert, so won't be pushing it very hard. I'm on an F800GS, and I'm amazed how little stuff i'm bringing! Haha, i heard all these stories of bikes being too heavy, i'm sure i'm missing something off mine.....or i'll just be a dirty biker - literally!

Anyway, let me know.
I'm from the UK, 37m
