Venezuela-Argentina June July 07
Hiya,
I know it’s early, but I was just wondering if anyone is planning to be in Venezuela at the beginning of June 07, and heading south. I ‘m hoping to have some company on my ride to Argentina next summer. I live and work in Venezuela, am on an F650 and half way through the Panamericana. I figure I will ride as far south as weather permits and park the bike until I can return at Christmas 07 to finish in Ushuaia. I have about 7-9 weeks to make the trip but would like to spend one of them in the Amazon and another in the Pantanal and possibly a third skiing in Argentina. Big plans but… what to do? A girl’s gotta dream. Anyway, I’m a bit tired of riding solo. It is so much safer to have at least one riding partner. So there you go… write me if you are interested. Ciao Susan |

Who know?
Hi Susan,
I plan to be riding through South America at the end of 2007, but gotta ride across Canada and then down through the Rockies first. I'd like to make the Copper Canyon meet in Mexico in October, meet up with a couple of other Brits and head south. So you know we may be out to play at the same time as you. But then again Canada is a biiiiiiiiiig country to cross, so I might be late. |
i may be in the area
i am riding from washington state fairly quickly through the states until i hit mexico then backing off the pace a little and down baja and as far south as i can get , i am leaving in may 07 ,so maybe see you on the way .i will keep in touch

We may bump into each other....
Hi Susan,
we're planning to start our trip in Santiago late April/May 2007. Go North up to Colombia, before heading south again, via Peru, Bolivia and Argentina down to Ushuaia toward end of year, early 2008. Depending on our progress we may bump into each other! Keep in touch and let's try to meet somewhere, closer to the date! Cheers! |
Thanks for the notes.
Hiya all,
Sorry I haven’t checked this website for a while. Actually, I was surprised to hear from anybody. Alejandro It looks like we may have a chance to pass each other somewhere in Brazil or Argentina in June or July. I’ll be going south, you’ll be going north. That would be fun to meet up. I ‘ll email you in the spring to see how far you’ve gotten. Stag Beatle I don’t know which way you are going once you leave Central America. If you end up on the Venezuela side be sure to stop in. Maybe we’ll meet at Christmas 07 way south. Canoe Guy maybe we’ll meet up at Christmas as well. It would be a tough one month haul to Ve from the states especially if you are going to kick back in Mexico for a while. Maria it looks like we’ll be on different sides of the continent until possibly Christmas way down south. Let’s stay in touch. Email is probably the best way to contact me. Cheers Susan |
