US and Mexico 2014

Ive just bought a dr650 and will be making my way from california to mexico with burning man in between.

I'd love to see some roadside eccentric and kitsch america. Go to the painted desert, salton sea, mojave desert, along senic route 66 and plenty more.

Aiming to be in Mexico in October.

If people want to meet up along the way it'd be great to hear from you.

Cheers Marie

If you are up for a little walk you might want to visit the Indian village of Supai in the bottom of the Grand Canyon (actually a little side canyon). It is one of the prettiest spots I have ever been, a couple of breath taking waterfalls, blue water. The village if one of the most remote spots in the U.S., mail delivered on horseback. Do some research. Access is near Peach Springs.

I'm hoping to do Baja this fall. If I can swing the time off I'd like to get to Cabo. I was thinking either Oct or Nov once it cools off. I'm in South Orange County, Ca.
