Just to add: I've just heard back from one of the Chinese tour companies I am in contact with. They expect the land borders to reopen in April (presumably along with tourist visas restarting). Another company is "expecting more announcements soon". The other companies are being more circumspect. But, the latter half of 2023 is looking increasingly possible (depending on developments within China).
