Hi, I think SA should mean South America, but on this forom, many users see SA as South Africa. Actually, South Africa should be RSA or ZA Now there adds some more confusion. 'vette |

Well RSA stands for the Republic of South Africa, but that fell away with the abolishement of apartheid and the pro white governement. ZA sounds a good call. I'd say ZA too. Only I wouldn't want to offend any Zambians!! |
Good 'ol SA.....yip, we have had some problems.
We still a Republic, still referred to as RSA/ SA....the only time I see ZA is on bumper stickers...which is pertinent to this site :scooter:...point taken.:thumbup1: Damien, that would be great....enjoy the trip, I am jealous you heading so soon. |
Damien,
:offtopic: If you gonna head to the Volta region in Ghana, I can certainly recommend the below. Biakpa Mountain Paradise My wife and I stayed there a few nights in December while back packing, it was awesome. We met some Lebanese chaps, they were 5 generation ghanians...so basically locals, and they were surprised tourists found this place.....2 landies and a suzuki. The owner was a local Ghanian chap who had some brilliant conservation projects on the go with the villiagers in the area, saving hardwood trees etc........real moving stuff ! Enjoy. |
