UK to Gibraltar

Folks, I have been planning a ride from UK to gibraltar and possibly over to Morocco for early november. Plan is about three weeks of riding and chilling. Anybody heading that way in that timeframe?

Thanks

Gibraltar trip

Hi Guys, When you get down to Gibraltar drop by the bike club and give them all my regards.
After you cross the airport runway, at the first roundabout turn left.
Follow that road until the tunnel that is blocked.
The building on the right was the bike club. Great bunch of guys.

I drink in the Gibraltar pub in Buenos Aires occasionaly.jeiger
I have not been down there for a few years, due to my tour of South America and my recent sudden transfer to the Middle East.
I have great memories of the trip across the France into the mountains.
The road from Pamplona down to the castle city of Toledo, first through the mountains, and then across the plains, is still one of my favourite roads.

Just a little suggestion for you.

We went to The Rock and found it really easy to get in but the Spanish like to slow things down sometimes on the way back into La Linea. There can be quite a queue of cars trying to get out of Gibraltar and like novices we joined them and sat in the heat until somebody in the know told us that on a bike there is a quick route through to the front of the queue. I am presuming that this is still the case and from memory you should see a narrow stretch of road between two curbs just wide enough to ride a bike through and avoid the aggro of waiting for ages in the heat (or cold/rain).

If anyone knows any different perhaps they can correct me.

......Or just ride to the front of the queue between the cars as would a m/c courier, often the Guards just wave you through when they see your passport. Unless it's one of their 'be awkward' times!
