UK - South America Trip 2013
 

Hi,

We are two young overlanders getting our vehicle and ourselves shipped to Buenos Aires in September this year.

We were wondering if any uk based travellers were planning a similar trip, that we could perhaps join to share shipping costs etc.

What bikes you riding? And what is your suggested route?

Hi!

Incase you don't get much luck on the shipping front I have another recommendation. In December last year I used James Cargo to fly the bike - very professional but of course flying isn't as cheap as shipping.

Then when I got to BA I used an agent called Dakar Motos. They got the bike out if customs for me. It also was pricey for a days work. But it took only 3hrs to get e bike out and they sorted my insurance out which covered Arge, Chile, Peru Bolivia and Uruguy.
