turkey to india may 2013
i am going to leave tabriz heading for the caspian coast and on towards mashad. crossing into turkmenistan between 20th and 22nd may. anyone having a similar schedule?

All bordergates to Iran are open and last week 5 bikers did without any problems who were in İstanbul with us a while ago.. There is only a saying that will be closed for vehicles between may-20 and june-20...Noone in Iran is able to confirm its true or not... Need to remind every body that 1-Carnet is a must. 2-No ATM machines.. 3-Facebook is illegal.. Wish you all the best. |

went to the border last week and after 2 hours allowed into iran. no hassles whatsoever. insurance tl 28.-- good for 20 days. tl 10.-- for the helping hand.
