weather and bordergate passes in East Turkey
 

Next week, it will be warmer and suny in the area.(Oct.24-30)
We have 3 border gates to İran...Most safe one is Gürbulak,the most northern one...It's less safer as you go to southern ones...

The middle boarder gate to İran(Kapıköy) started serving regularly...Just 110 km. from Van city...Tebriz is very close to this border gate...Kurd children always throw sticks and stones to everyone on the road...Thats the problem there...

The most southern bordergate is Esendere to Iran...We dont recommend this one...

For bikers on the opposite direction; regular trains available from,Tehran (IRAN), Van,Kurtalan and Erzurum to İstanbul..Keep in mind as an option for winter if you will be on the road..Passenger and baggage tickets are very cheap..
