You’ll have an awesome time!

Do you know which way you are going over the tops? I went from Chamonix over the Col du Grand Saint Bernard and down to Aosta. Was such a laugh. Not sure if it is late enough in season yet, though?

Everything will be fine. Europe is very easy to travel with lots of friendly people everwhere who can help if something happens.

Only tip I have is to not ride too much every day (if possible) personally I try to ride 3-4 hours per day with plenty of stops, taking it easy.

You'll love Italy, some of the best roads + scenery and food anywhere!
