South America nov '14 - apr '15

Hi all!

Ill be in Chile in nov 2014 taking spanish classes for a month, after that I hope to be travelling around S A for another 5 months. It would be my first time and really looking forward to it! I didn t make any plans yet, but I am thinking of going south first starting in Chile trhough Patagonia to Ushuaia. Than going back north to Peru/Bolivia, not sure how BUT I must see Uyuni :-)
If u care to join for some parts let me know! I certainly could use some experience!
For those who are wondering, I am 28years old and looking for a more low budget way to travel, that means (to me) using a tent/hostels/hospitality from locals! I live in Belgium/Europe, I don t speak any spanish (yet), dutch is my native language and I have some understanding of french and english...
Hope to hear from u soon...

PS I dont know what kind of bike I ll be riding since I will be buying one in Chile, but I ve heard that the euromot 200cc can bring me every where for 5 months so for now that is a good option!

Enjoy your trip.
The Euromot (Qinqi 200) is a nice bike ,and the same as the suzuki dr200,
only different plastics.Good for a lot of trouble free kilometers.
Just make sure to check the spokes, they tend to get lose on that bike.

Good luck!:funmeteryes:

Hello Hugo, I'm a motorcycle rider on a 650r currently in Santiago. I'll be heading down to Puerto Montt, Patagonia and Punta Arenas in the next week or so.

What are your plans? Have you found a bike yet?

Hi Heini,

We will be heading to TDF for Christmas also. Leaving Montevideo around 10 December to Buenos Aires and then South. Maybe we can hook-up somewhere? My name is Ramey 'Coach' Stroud and my traveling companion is Anja from Germany.

Ride Well,
Coach
