Round the world and maybe beyond??

:welcome:I am a 44 year old looking for some adventure and a like minded person to travel with. I envisage a trip between 6 months and a year. This will give us time to visit all the wonderful places that we would otherwise not see. The whole trip would be planned together. It might be that we would decide to go to Americas, Africa, Asia or perhaps around the world. Currently looking at end 2009 as earliest departure date. Anyone seriously interested, I'd love to hear from you. Cheers. Dave:thumbup1:

I'm looking forward to the "beyond" part! you will be the first HUBBer to enter space. Unless someone on here has already been, it wouldn't suprise me, ha ha.

Africa & Asia 2009-2010

Hello Dave,

I'm planning a trip from germany to southafrica riding down eastern africa and crossing to namibia. Second part will be shipping to india (or sri lanka) and riding down to singapore with visits to thailand, vietnam, korea - if time and money is left and if I can stand it I will continue to australia then.

I will start in early spring 2009, so if you start late in the year there will maybe a possibility to join.

Let me know if you like to talk about.

Macs

I knew it would be a mistake to read "mondo enduro" again. Would loved to be involved in a similar trip

If you are up for this sort of trip then we should have a chat. I am not sure how we go about exchanging e-mail addresses/phone numbers without the whole whole world finding out. d

Hi
Unfortunately I have short legs in comparison to my body. Sounds like a severe affliction but it is not I am quite noermal. Prob is a lot of the bikes I find too tall e.g GS1200, XT600, Tiger not yet tried a transalp. The one bike that allowed me to get having more than the balls of my feet on the ground was the BMW F600. In fact the bike was really comfy. Trying to jack up a test ride.
