Dear bikerfellows

being out on the road in Nevada /USA right now since 17 th of may for 12500 km so far, the Ride-of-Smiles is fully privately started charity project. Planned originally for 50000 miles the idea is riding with benefits for 4 NGOs, namley Doctors without borders, United for Africa, the Christian Blind Mission and the Bavarian NGO Sternstunden - all out to help the poorest peole and children worldwide- for more detaisl feel free to find out about it all at Ride Of Smiles - 50.000 miles - RIDE OF SMILES - THE PROJECT

Riding with benefits again means it is still a riders story, just not raising the attention too much on the rider, but on those who are in need. As a doctor who has workexperience in bush hospital surroundings, I well know how much that support is needed.

Yet it i s still about riding. And being out on a bike is always nicer and definitely better shared with a fellow biker to join the road . After that distance on my own it would be great to share some company on the further headings into Brasil ( I am just reflecting whether to travel Brasil or not ) , Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. Riding bikes all over the place now for 33 years there is no such thing as road companions.

Further heading from December to February 2016 shall be round Australia and over to NZL.
