Riding from California to Alaska and back
 

I'm a 28 year old Australian and I arrived in Los Angeles A week ago with my Suzuki DL 650. I'm looking for a travel buddy for the ride up to Alaska that has started their trip or just about to. I'm Still in California at the moment but not for long as I'm leaving soon. My plan was to do it solo but a partner would make it more enjoyable! I don't have an exact route yet so I'm flexible if someone already has a route planned.

Peace Area Flooding 2016.

If you want to get to the Alaska Highway, you will have to go to Dawson Creek (mile 0) via ALBERTA, it is not possible to ride north to Dawson Creek from southern BC. The government thinks it might be up to a month before the highways get re-opened - the flooding was very bad, and long sections of major highways have been washed right out.
