In Namibia, heading for Tanzania/Kenya then...?
 

Hi all

I'm currently travelling up through Africa, 'done' South Africa, Swaziland, and just about finished with Namibia and heading north-east towards Tanzania and Kenya over the next few months. If anyone is heading in the same direction and fancies meeting up and/or maybe travelling 'together' for short stints or whatever, let me know?

I am in a 2WD campervan which has survived surprisingly well so far, but won't be going far off the beaten track too much especially with the rains due soon..

Vague plans are:

Botswana (in a couple of days via Caprivi)
Vic Falls
Zambia > Zim >Mana Pools (if its possible given the vehicle/conditions)
Zambia - South Luangwa - again, conditions permitting and campsites etc
Malawi - nothing concrete, just mooching around and having a look
Tanzania
Uganda/Rwanda/Kenya ?

Then I need to decide whether to tackle Ethiopia/Sudan and maybe Egypt (with the usual debate about getting across the Med) or ship it somewhere else... India perhaps..

Anyhow - if you see a white, UK registered VW LT35 campervan somewhere along that route, it may well be me :)

Around the World in a Campervan

I am flying my bike to Capetown early November and am heading up to the Horizons event then a very vague plan of 6 months making my way to Kenya , I will be riding a vintage Harley so not in a rush. Our paths may cross .
