Mini adventure, Brecons / Mid wales. Motorbikes and Trail Running
 

Morning. :D

I'm a serious trail runner covering ultra distance regularly and train in the Brecons often. I'm also a passionate traveler and motorcycle enthusiast (obviously!)...

I want to combine my pass times and wondered if anyone would like to join? (Dont worry - Im happy to drop the distance in return for a trail buddy or two - even if you are just starting, everyone starts somewhere and I can always crunch miles another time). This is all about the escape not about a beasting!

I have recently purchased an XT600E and want to explore the green lanes and fire roads of the Brecons and Mid Wales. I hope to spend a few weekends over the summer riding, exploring, free camping and running.

I don't know much about the off road motorcycling in the above regions so would greatly appreciate sharing the trip with someone who does. In turn i'm happy to share what experience Ihave with trail running / nav / survival etc.

This is exactly to sort of thing I have in mind too.

But I'm a real novice, so if looking for someone more experienced no problems.

Only just bought (as in yesterday) my first bike (XT225) and running-wise I'll be starting from scratch once I get back to UK next week (am v cycle-fit and used to adventure race a bit though). The Brecons/mid-Wales is where I usually head mountain-biking.

I would be all over this but I would be terrible at the running as im still recovering from a serious injury!
