Mexico 2022 and 2023

After New Year's I'll be coming down into Mexico on a Husaberg FE570 for the next year or two until the world opens back up and I can continue RTW with my other bike I left in Tbilisi Georgia last month.

I'll be doing mostly off-road or paved back roads. Never any highway! Limited camping and a lot of shenanigans mixed with bad ass adventures are what's on the menu for me. Love to connect and share the trail for a while!

Please send me a message on Instagram and connect with me over there if you want to pop a few wheelies and/or explore the backcountry with me for a day, week, month, or year [emoji2936][emoji95][emoji2935]

Getting the Berg tagged in insured. In the process of outfitting the bike for Mexico over the next month or so. Install the warp 9 rear wheel with a Kush Drive hub and did an oil change. Just a FYI:

Inserting multiple emojis into the title of a post merely yields something like this: Mexico 2022 and 2023 [emoji1631][emoji100][emoji91][emoji1166][emoji895][emoji896].

I tried two browsers with the same result. So...you're not getting the effect you want, but you're definitely ensuring that the actual title is hard to read.

Hope that's helpful.

Hmmmm [emoji848] it's odd because even when you copied and pasted this title into your message it still shows me the emojis on my phone as normal.

Thanks for the heads up though [emoji2936][emoji95][emoji2935]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6505f15e6f.jpg

Hmm. When I checked this thread yesterday after posting, mine read as I wrote it--Mexico, a few dates, and a string of emoji numbers without graphics. This morning, my post reads as you intended, with emojis replacing the numbers, and I have no explanation for any of it.

At any rate, the *title* of your thread still reads with bracketed emoji numbers 1631, 100, 91, 1166, 1895--same on my phone. Maybe it's a Mac thing.

Chromebook; thread title shows as Markharf states:

Mexico 2022 and 2023 [emoji1631][emoji100][emoji91][emoji1166][emoji895][emoji896]

Inside the messages all looked fine, but I can't copy them.

Well, that *is* wierd. Now the emojis show up when copied into my post- they didn't look like that before.

:confused2:

I suppose there's a bit of code which automatically translates anything within brackets inside a post into what it thinks you must mean. Same thing happens if I type the word b-e-e-r within a post--it turns into beer. I think we can change this in our preferences, so maybe try that on the emoji-fest.

Meanwhile, there's no code doing the same in a thread title. To verify, start a (relevant, timely, significant) thread with the word b-e-e-r in the title....

Yes - some words are "converted" automatically into emojis by the forum software - but only in the body. In the subject, it may or may not work, depending on how YOUR device translates the characters.
When you post, you can turn the auto emjoi option (disable smilies in text) off by ticking the box.

Good to know about the code working on different devices. Never would have thought about it hahaha everything I have is Android and it shows up the same on my phone as it does on a computer using Google Chrome.

Anyways my hope is to meet up with some friends down in Mexico to do some adventure riding with code or no code [emoji85][emoji1787][emoji2509][emoji100][emoji559]

Looking at crossing into the Mexican border sometime in mid to late February [emoji1631][emoji100][emoji91][emoji1166][emoji170][emoji895][emoji179][emoji896][emoji171][emoji322]
