MEX Ride Early November 09
I will be riding in MEX, early November ‘09. I have a flexible schedule since I am taking the rest of the year off after 15 September (I am working in Africa right now). No fixed dates other than I have to be in Guanajuato and a nearby ranch for a tauromaquía tienta school 5-8 November. I will be loitering before and after the school in the Colonial Triangle area and perhaps Zacatecas.
My starting point would be Houston or San Antonio. I usually ride solo, so you should be comfortable doing the same in MEX, as I will be ditching you during the school. For other parts of the ride feel free to join or peel off as you see fit. There are a few historical places I might like to stop at on the way in/out. For MEX, I ride a CB250 averaging about 67 mph, so keep that speed in mind if you’d like to join. I do not camp. This is a paved ride. I don’t drink, do drugs, or visit puteros.
